This week we will be practicing solving the area of circles and then reviewing three-dimensional shapes. You may want to watch the video above if you are having trouble remembering each type of 3D figure. We will have a challenging activity Tuesday and Thursday involving making nets for an unusual object.

Because of unforeseen circumstances, we were unable to create our sundials last week, and we instead created a "Universe in a Box" to help us visualize what the positions of the constellations can tell us about the seasons. This week we WILL be investigating the earth's rotation and the sun's position in the sky by making our own sundials! We will also be investigating the different phases of the moon and using a model to demonstrate the process.

Have a great week, and thank you for your support!
