May 27-31

We're in the home stretch!
Sixth grade, here we come!!

Notes for the week...

**  Thank you so much for your support of our 3rd annual Support Staff Appreciation Breakfast!  Students worked so hard serving those who serve us throughout the year, and they realized how exhausting, yet rewarding, it is to serve others!  It was a great success, and everyone who attended expressed their most heartfelt thanks! **
Our "Goodbye to Elementary" end-of-the-year party will be held at the swimming pool at Quinta Bella on Thursday, May 30.  Permission slips were sent home yesterday, along with a note asking for 200 lps for each child.  This will cover the cost of lunch, snacks, transportation, drinks, and desserts!  Mr. Andrew and Ms. Amy will do the shopping so you don't have to :).  We will be leaving school at 9:45am (students WILL HAVE their first two classes of the day) and will return to school before dismissal.

In Reading, we will finish with our guided reading novel, Esperanza Rising by Pam Muñoz Ryan, and have our final discussion and reflection over the book.
